𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 Moderator 𝗼𝗳 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑢𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑛 Fourth Industrial Revolution (4 IR) and Smart Bangladesh 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑢𝑝𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔” 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯.
Here’s a brief intro about Nobonita Chakravarty:
Nobonita Chakravarty is currently the lecturer (Bengali language and literature) in the Department of EEE at Dhaka International University Bangladesh. She worked as the Center co-ordinator, Covid 19 Telehealth Center, A2i, the Department of Information and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology jointly led the UNDPfunded telehealth initiative from 2020- 2022 August.
She obtained her Research Masters in Applied Theater First class marks having 1st Position from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata with a Fulbright Scholarship awarded by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Government of India.She also obtained her BA from Rajshahi University with a degree in Drama.
Nobonita Associated with cultural activities such as classical dance, recitation, debate, moderating the Programme from an early age. She has won National Children’s Award (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007) national Shaplakuri Children’s Award (2001) and other national level awards. While studying at the university, she won the gold medal in the national inter-university competition twice in 2014 and 2015 and became the champion.
She received the “Vijay Samman” award from Bangladesh High Commission Kolkata (2018). At the same year worked as the youth representative of the university was youth delegates at the world conference of “BBIN think tank” organized by the British High Commission and ORF.
She actively participate and present the research papar in various national and international seminars & conference held on home and aboard. Up to date she has five (5) published research articles in reputed National and International Journal. Her essay “Context Applied Theater” is read as a reference in the Department of Drama at Rajshahi University.
She has participated as the performer in national and international Theatre festivals in various countries from remote areas of the country. Among them Bharat-matri Natya Utsav organized by BangladeshIndia Government, Ranger Hat, Kolkata, Bharat International Natya Utsav, International Natya Utsav organized by Tripura State Government, ” munir Chowdhury Natya utsob” organized by are notable.
She has also conducted workshops on theatres. During the Covid -19 pandemic, she founded a voluntary organization called “Corona Brigade Nilphamari” with enterprising young people. She is also play leading role of various important political social and research organizations as like ANYV & One Bangladesh, stage for Youth. Since 2019, She has been regularly writing columns in various daily newspapers and theatre Magazine. Presently, she play a role of Moderator in various national program including BTV.
