The Youth Researchers Program (YRP) is a Six-Month program where motivated students from diversified disciplines learn and conduct research under the guidance of reputed faculty from different universities and sectoral experts. YRP provides fundamental knowledge of research methodology, basic statistics with SPSS and hands-on research projects experiences Skills acquired in doing research cover all the critical skills needed for the 21st century.
YRP is designed to provide a better understanding of current research practices, and information, and connect participants to pursue careers as researchers. The program begins with an introduction to the research process and methodologies, before moving on to question formulation, hypothesis generation, concept formation and operationalization, and causal inference. Fellows are also equipped with comprehensive knowledge and competencies in a wide array of research methodology techniques: both qualitative (e.g., interview, focus group discussion, case study, comparative method, and content analysis), and quantitative (e.g., experimental and quasi-experimental design, and statistical methods). |
