Introduction

Md. Salauddin

Associate Professor, Urban and Rural Planning Discipline, Khulna University, Khulna.

Salauddin has been engaged in teaching and research since 2008 and found interest in urban services delivery planning. He teaches subjects like Municipal Services Planning and have engaged with national and international organizations in exploring the service conditions and ways to improve the service standard. He particularly emphasize on the socioeconomic and ecological impacts of the decision-making process.

 

Mr. Salauddin apply urban political-industrial ecology approach to dissect the problems and conflicts arises from different actors, and tries to provide solution for optimum resource allocation while ensuring social cohesion. He has been working experiences on stakeholder engagement/participatory development, participatory mapping, climate and disaster vulnerabilities, social exclusion, market and value chain analysis and women’s involvement in economic activities
